What does free fluid around ovaries mean?

I have been feeling ill...pelvic pain, lower back pain,change in bowels, bloating and gas... I had a transvaginal ultrasound where the tech saw free fluid around my ovaries and a collasped fallopian tube. After the test I was instructed to make an appointment with my Doctor. Any thoughts?
