Clubbing but wearing a little black dress for the theme. It's almost winter here...?

I want to bring a jacket but I hate having to hold onto it while dancing and I don't want to leave it at a table in case someone steals it. I'm wearing a little black dress so I'll be freezing outside but I'm sure it'll be super hot inside. What should I do?
