Buying Counterfeit Clothing? Will Government Bother To Charge You?

Copyright and Trademark violation is nowadays a common trend, and no government is worried about it. Because, they know, they cannot do anything about it. So, they keep their eyes closed. In India, the problem is the same. Everywhere in the footpaths, there are fake things sold. Software, which cost thousands of dollars, are sold at 50 Rupees (nearly a dollar). Songs and movies, which are built with millions of money, they are sold there in the footpaths for rupees 30 only. In Kolkata city, where I live, right in front of the government secretariat such fake videos are sold violating copyrights, and it is now normal. So, it seems, that the copyright and Trademark laws and acts will some day become extinct from the world.
