Is it wrong for me to ask to take off more work?

I have been at a job for three years and have been mostly part time. I graduated college in December and shortly after graduation I took 3 months off of work to go live with my sister out of town to help take care of her after she had her leg amputated. After returning to work, I went full time and then was promoted to Supervisor. Then 3 weeks ago I found out I had to have a surgery to remove a large cyst, an ovary, and 1 fallopian tube. I have been off work for 2 weeks now and I have not been cleared by my doctor to go back yet. I do not know how much longer before my doctor will okay me to go back to work. My family is planning a graduation party for me (since we didn't get to have one after I actually graduated due to my sister's health) and I will need to ask for a weekend off in the middle of June. I have also planned on going out of town with a friend in July for about a week. Is it unprofessional of me to ask for more time off? The time I have had off already has been for serious issues and now with all the stress and exhaustion I have been under, I just want to get away for a little vacation for fun. Should I just suck it up and cancel my "fun stuff," and just throw myself into work? I feel bad for asking for more time off but I need a break! Please Help!
